Sometimes during the divorce process a spouse can take on immoral practices (e.g., hiding money from their partner). This can be done for a number of reasons, whether the spouse is trying to guard his own money, or simply trying to make sure his partner suffers financial loss as some form or humiliation. Whatever the reason, sometimes a spouse has to take it into their own hands to ensure they are getting everything they are entitled to.
This is where forensic accounting comes in. A forensic accountant can look into financial practices of your soon to be ex-spouse and see how much money he makes and how much money he spends (or at least claims to spend) and sees if it all adds up with the share you are being given. Essentially, a forensic accountant can work together with your attorney to make sure you are not being cheated out of your fair share of money.

Divorce is an abrupt end of a beautiful relationship called marriage. And, things get all the more messy and dirty when couples go for contested divorce.
A Contested Divorce is one where both the parties contest for divorce in a court of law. It is like a war between the divorcing couple. Both of them fight on issues related to division of their property, paying off unpaid debts, over their children, demanding child support, right to visit the child, and several such personal and financial matters.
Generally, in contested divorce, both the parties have to bear lot of humiliation and mental trauma. Negotiations, allegations, and counter accusations ultimately cause bitter and permanent hatred towards each other. Besides the divorcing couple, their families and children also suffer a lot during contested divorce.

I need a copy of an uncontested divorce with no children for the state of Georgia. I have looked almost everywhere online and they all charge for them (even the sites that say they’re FREE!). I just need one to go by as far as how it is worded and the layout of it. Time is of utmost importance here. Can anyone help me? I tried to ask at the courthouse and was told to look online. Figures. Someone help me please!!

I want to file for an uncontested divorce online. It is a mutual split, with no property or child issues since we have none. Have any of you done this? I know going to an attorney is a good idea also, but it sounds very expensive and I can’t afford that now that I am alone. Any friendly advice? Thanks =)

DIY Divorce’s Cost vs. High Street Lawyer’s Fee
One of the main reasons why people are opting for DIY divorces is the exorbitant fee of any high street solicitor. The English law does not require the people to hire the services of a lawyer to defend the case. Most people realise that courtroom battles and endless meetings with the attorneys only create more bitterness and complications. Therefore, couples are increasingly opting for settling their disputes themselves and want a quick and dignified split.
