Once you’ve been married, you understand the stresses that ensue from it. Some marriages make it through all the arguments, but there are those that don’t. These marriages are the ones that you feel lost and feel the need to end the whole process. Divorcing the spouse can be a complicated process to go through, but if you are lucky enough to get an uncontested divorce, then it can be easier. If you get an attorney, they will do all of the paperwork but you will be stuck with a large bill to pay. Hiring an attorney may not be the best option for everyone. So, what is the least expensive way to file for an uncontested divorce in Florida?
Whether you reside in Florida, want a California divorce, or a North Carolina divorce, the result is the same…it will be much less expensive for both parties if you obtain your paperwork online and file the divorce papers yourself. This is all perfectly legal and very affordable, an instant way to decrease your personal divorce cost. Each state has separate residency requirements, so you will need to access the state website for that information, as it changes from year to year. For most states, the residency needed is 6 months and 1 day.

Divorce is always a miserable prospect, and if money is already tight, it can be downright terrifying. Fortunately, there is a way out of a failing marriage that won’t leave you in the poor house. Many courts can supply an alternative to the typical divorce proceedings with a far less expensive method of filing for a simple divorce, so long as there is no contest.
Often known as Joint Simplified Dissolution of Marriage, there are several stringent stipulations that prospective clients must meet. First of all, both spouses must be employed, or otherwise independent of one another. If not, the dependent spouse will be required to forgo any request for financial support like alimony. Both spouses are generally required to be residents of the state in which they are filing for divorce.

With the Freedom to Information Act (1966), divorce records and various others such as Marriage, Birth, Death, Criminal records and so forth became public records. This applies to all states although the use and treatment of these records are subject to variations in laws between the states. They are widely available from both government and private sources and County Texas Divorce Records are known to date as far back as the 19th century.
One of the public services that are provided by The Texas Department of State Health Services is Divorce Records Texas. They can be requested from the Vital Statistics Unit in Report of Divorce Indexes and can be downloaded free of charge from the department website. Although nominal, fees are usually involved beyond that. About a hundred thousand divorces have been filed at the office since 1968 but not much beyond Divorce Letters of Verification is available directly from this office.
