I have a friend whom is wanting to do a do-it-yourself divorce. Him and the ex have two boys ages 8 and 9. The maternal grandmother has full legal custody of the boys and lives in Nebraska. Divorce will be in Kentucky. The grandmother left KY and moved to Nebraska. My friend already pays child support to the maternal grandmother. So his question is since neither parent has any rights to the children do the children still need to be listed in the divorce? Thanks.

Do it yourself divorce kits?

I’m trying to divorce my cheating, drug addict husband. We have a 15 month old son. The courts told me I’d need a lawyer to do my divorce or I could try to do it myself. I was told about those kits at the office supply stores “Do it yourself divorces”. Do those work? The court said the documents could be out dated, but I am not sure. Any reviews on them?

If you are currently going through a divorce, or still reeling from a separation that is now legally complete, there are people who can help.
