rivasj27 is wrong. You can go into any courthouse and pull any record. Divorce documents are a matter of public record. You can even make copies of documents. The only thing you will not be privy to are documents that may have been impounded, i.e. a Guardian ad Litem report.

No you can not. You can only get a copy of the paperwork if your name is on the records and that would be at the courthouse

@MissLizaMay Not exactly. If you want to be 100% accurate, the re were 4 divorces or anullments, because he also divorced both Anne Boleyn & Catherine Howard before executing them. He did not want to execute an actual Queen of England, so he made sure that the marriages were anulled as you well said and that they lost their title.
Traditionally the “Divorced” are Katherine of Aragon & Anne of Cleves, Anne Boleyn & Catherine Howard are under the category “Executed” only, to simplify matters.

I remember waking up in the middle of the night when i was a kid and turning on the TV and this was on! lol not many kids would bother watching aa black and white film but since it was late and nothing esle was on, i decided to watch it. It was actually henrys massive fat built that caught my attention lol Im only 21 now, this happened like 5-10 years ago lol

I did not want children. I had a vasectomy. My wife did not agree. About six years later she left. No harm done. No money was awarded.

Sorry,but a vasectomy is considered elective surgery. If he didn’t want one he shouldn’t have put his nuts on the chopping block.

Besides,it’s not like they can make him fertile again. Despite what you may have seen on a billboard, a vasectomy done that long ago is forever. Different technique back then. They really made sure there wasn’t going to be an accident by removing a section long enough to ensure it couldn’t ever be reattached.

Nope he cannot. He chose to get a vasectomy even if it was to satisfy his wife it was still his choice. Also there is a very high chance that he won’t be able to successively reverse his vasectomy.

They had some kind of agreement while married with regards to having kids. I take offense you would use the word “rape” so easily. She was married to him for 21 years. Because as such, she is entitled to a certain amount during a divorce.

I am not sure what the laws are, especially where you are at, but he made this decision. I don’t see how his decision to have a vasectomy is something she should have to pay for.

Edit- Well, I think it is still strong word to describe he wanting more rather than SEIZING more. She isn’t going around and plundering and seizing the belongings. She is going to court and having it all done LEGALLY!
