What is a Divorce Recovery Support Group?
As the name suggests, it is a support group for divorcer. The group comprises of many divorcers who get together under the trained guidance of therapists and divorce counsellors to discuss their mutual situations. The group provides support and guidance to divorcers about their newfound life status. The group follows a format of discussion, introspection and frank communication.

After the decision has been made to go through with and file for divorce, two spouses must ask themselves the above question regarding whether or not they should arrange a financial settlement in divorce by way of spousal support.
Many couples tend to experience puzzlement when it comes to the manner in which spousal support operates. Confusion can center around the circumstances that allow one spouse to request the alimony support; which party is eligible to receive support payments and for how long a period of time the paying spouse will be obligated to make those payments; and what happens to the payment itself once the receiving spouse decides to remarry.
STOP THE DRAMA!! You can stop playing the game. You can’t control what other people do or say, but you do have control over your own words and actions. Check your motives and know you don’t have to immediately respond to every harsh word, snide comment, text, e-mail, or voice message. Keep your side of the street clean and keep your sanity!
Even though you are divorced, you still MUST protect your children from emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. DO NOT turn a blind eye and ignore the abuse of your children. There are resources out there to help you. You may have gotten out of a violent marriage, but you still have to protect your children.

During a separation or divorce it is important in your recovery to take care of yourself. Do something you have always wanted to do or help someone else in need. Dwelling on past mistakes or your pain can slow the recovery process and prolong your pain. Let it go. The good you do for yourself and others will help you in your divorce recovery. Joining an online divorce support group, like this one, or one in your community can also help you in your recovery. Either way, be good to yourself.
My divorce, under the child support paragraph, it states that the Respondent (my Ex) shall be eligible for such reimbursement by the Petitioner (me) when such costs are related to the employment, search for employment, or employment related education of the Respondent.
What does this mean?
